Dr. Isabella Blood graduated with honors from the University of New Mexico with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and a double minor in Psychology and Health, Medicine, & Human Values. After college, she followed her love for mountains and an active lifestyle to Denver, Colorado and earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy Degree from University of Colorado. During her doctoral training, she cultivated her passion for helping people rebuild their mind-body connections after injury and trauma with a clinical internship in acute rehabilitation for people with spinal cord and traumatic brain injuries. She also volunteered with an adaptive yoga class for individuals with spinal cord injuries that eventually led her to pursue both her yoga teacher certification and additional training in teaching adaptive yoga.

Since PT school, Isabella has treated clients across the age spectrum for orthopedic, neurological, and medical conditions. She brings the same holistic, person-centered viewpoint to each of her clients, incorporating her yoga background to facilitate integration of breath, body awareness, alignment, and nervous system regulation into her treatment plans. She is certified in Dry Needling through the American Academy of Manipulative Therapy and especially loves using this technique for breaking chronic pain cycles and promoting tissue healing. Isabella was drawn to pelvic floor therapy to empower women and create a safe space for people who have often felt unheard in traditional health care. She is especially passionate about helping individuals reconnect with their core and pelvic floor so they can feel at home in their bodies again.

Outside of the clinic, Isabella enjoys spending time with her cattle dog, stand-up paddle boarding, vegetable and flower gardening, crocheting, reading, and spending time in nature.
